Pick a challenge
- Reaction time test: wait for green, then click. You get your average, median, best time and the spread in milliseconds. False starts don’t count.
- Lights out reaction test: five red lights come on one by one; go the moment they all go out, like a racing start.
- Ruler drop test: the classic test with a friend and a ruler. Type where you caught it and we turn the distance into a reaction time.
- CPS test: click as fast as you can in modes from 1 to 100 seconds. The right-click CPS test counts only the right button.
- Spacebar clicker: hits per second on the space bar, in timed or endless mode. Holding the key doesn’t count, only real presses.
- Aim trainer: hit targets as fast as you can in three sizes. You get time per target and accuracy.
- Typing test: words per minute and accuracy in 1, 3 or 5 minutes, with a keyboard layout for your language.
How scoring works
Each test shows the raw number first: milliseconds, clicks or hits per second, words per minute. Your best result and your recent runs are saved only in this browser, and Clear my results removes them. There is no account and no public leaderboard.
Some tests add a fun tier such as Steady, Quick or Blazing. These are our own thresholds, just for fun, not statistics about other people.
Your device takes part in every result. Screens, mice, keyboards and browsers add their own delay, usually a few tens of milliseconds in total, so compare your results on the same setup. If your numbers look strange, check the hardware: the mouse test finds a worn switch, and the keyboard polling rate test estimates how often your keyboard reports.
Frequently asked questions
Are my results saved?
Only in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and you can delete your results at any time with Clear my results.
Do the skill tests work on a phone?
Yes. On a touch screen every tap counts, and the spacebar clicker shows an on-screen key. Touch results are not directly comparable with a mouse or keyboard.
Why is my reaction time slower here than on another site?
Different sites and devices add different delays. Your screen’s refresh rate, the mouse or touch screen and the browser all count. Compare runs on the same device to see real progress.
